AMA International School-Bahrain started its link with INJAZ Bahrain since 2011under the supervision of Ms. Samia Mirza, the Vice Principal of the Middle School. From then on students in the middle and high school were involved in the annual trainings conducted by INJAZ Bahrain.
With the objective of maximizing the students’ potentials in both academic and social aspects, this year, under the supervision of Mr. Moatassem Ebeid, Vice Principal of the Elementary Department, the Grades 2, 3 and 6 pupils participated in the INJAZ Trainings on specified scheduled dates in October and November respectively.
The Grade 6 pupils attended the “Our Nation” workshop where participation in the program are able to understand: That businesses need people with skills that are in demand in the workplace; They learn about entrepreneurship and the different types of resources needed in business production; The impact of global competition on business needs for employees and production materials.
The Grade 3 pupils attended the “Our Families” program designed to emphasize on the roles people play in the local economy and engages students with activities about needs, wants, jobs, tools and skills, and interdependence.
The Grade 2 pupils had the “Ourselves” workshop wherein using compelling stories read aloud by the volunteer, hands on activities to demonstrate helping, working, earning and savings were acquired by the participants.
